Introduction
Where do we begin. Our client came to us back at the start of October 2022 following on from the devastating news of her husband passing. Our client was very anxious at this time and following on from the valuation Rob provided, our client decided to instruct Cross Keys. Out of 3 valuations, our client felt the most relaxed with us and really believed we could fulfil not just her marketing needs, but also felt very comfortable knowing Cross Keys are also there for her for emotional support for when things got tough.
Due to the devastating position our client was in, we really wanted to do what we do best as a company and to help our client have a fresh and new beginning. After only a couple of days of marketing, we started to receive offers on the property. Before we knew it, we had received 17 offers in total. At this point our client was totally taken back and with our help and support she decided to accept an offer from a First Time Buyer.
This was music to our client’s ears after unfortunately having a few false starts. Although this was out of our control, due to the property needing more work than expected, our client remained to still have full trust in us as a company and after a lot of preservation along the way, between both parties, we were determined to give it our all in finding the right buyer for our client’s property. Sometimes, not all sales start off smoothly.
With our client agreeing to proceed with the buyer at £185,000, which was 10k over the marketing price, this then allowed our client to find her new home at a slightly higher value. After 4 months, our client started to see light at the end of the tunnel and following on from completing on her property, she also moved into her new property to start her next chapter. This was something she never believed could happen.
